Chart notes
LAGOON challenged for the early lead, drove clear around the turn, pulled away down the lane and proved much the best. LUCAS ZIP IT broke sharp, eased off the front end, came around the turn on the outside, made a late gain, proved no match for the winner, but was a clear second. LOUISIANA FLASH vied for the early advantage, saved ground around the turn, forwardly placed throughout, but proved no match for the top two. FOOLISH BOY challenged on the front end, saved ground, lacked a late kick and missed show. CAPTAIN COOL raced in the middle of the field, came around the turn on the outside and finished evenly. MALIBU MONEY broke poorly, racing in the rear and was never a threat. PRODUCTION TIME void of early speed and was never close. RAMMER JAMMER always raced near the back and showed little.
