Chart notes
STARSHIP EMPIRE never far back, tracked the pace and was boxed into the stretch, came through inside into the stretch, angled out, lugged in slightly, then drew off under steady pressure. CITY PLAN sprinted to a clear lead soon after the start, drew off down the backstretch, held sway to the furlong marker, then was no match for the winner, while clearly best of the rest. DIGITAL FOOTPRINT allowed to settle, moved up inside through the second turn, angled four wide into the stretch, lugged in and could not gain the final furlong. CANADIAN GAME well placed, held position on the two path through the second turn, came three wide into the stretch and faded the final furlong. GIANT PAYDAY well placed and outside, faded three wide through the second turn. CHOCOLATE PHILLING was no factor.
