Chart notes
SWEET CONFUSION broke slowly, was switched well outside in the opening stages while being prompted to contention, steadily advanced four wide into the bend and produced a sustained response to wrest the advantage from COOKIN ROSES in time under firm handling. The latter broke sharply, forced the pace outside a rival in the three path racing to the bend, went clear nearing upper stretch, held sway to late stages but couldn't fend off the winner. COUGER tracked the leaders three deep between foes dropping off the second flight on the backstretch, shifted out four wide nearing midstretch and continued willingly late to close the gap on the top pair. RANK AND FILE tracked off the second flight four wide on the backstretch, dropped back entering the turn, then made some belated progress outside foes. FLYING BUSINESS tracked the leaders three wide between foes in second flight, advanced in that path to lodge a brief bid nearing the lane but flattened out midstretch. INDAWIN, held up avoiding tight quarters in the opening stages while dropping out last, angled to the eight path in upper stretch and gained some position while making no real impression. FIRST SQUADRON, forwardly placed between rivals stalking just off the first flight racing to the turn, continued between foes to the lane, shifted in entering the stretch and steadily faded. QUEEN'S MISSION was urged along the inside prompting the pacesetter into the turn and gave way after a half. GODSGIFT tracked off the first flight inside foes racing to the turn but faded early.
