NORTHVALE ROAD was sent to dispute the early fractions, took a narrow lead nearing the quarter marker, drew clear to mid-stretch, had the margin cut into a bit in deep stretch but held safely in the end for the win. MR. MISCHIEF pressed the fast early pace, lost ground to the winner leaving the turn, made a bit of headway on NORTHVALE ROAD in deep stretch but was outfinished in the end, while well clear for the place. FAST PER SE showed early speed and contested the pace to the turn, lost ground three wide on the turn and gave way in the drive.
