Chart notes
PEGGY B FAST was away in good order to set a pressured pace, opened a clear margin nearing the five-sixteenths pole and held sway to the wire. MINDOFMYOWN settled off the leaders early, advanced six-wide through the turn for a striking position but could not gain on the winner in the drive. TOTHEMOONANDBACK was reserved just off the leaders early, moved five-wide through the turn and finished with a steady bid. BINALLOVERDRINKEN was forwardly placed early, moved four-wide through the turn, angled in with a sixteenth to run and failed to gain late. ROBTHEQUEEN chased the leaders from the inside and gave way through the final furlong. MINNIE ME HA was off slow, raced unhurried early, moved four-wide through the turn and was not a factor. RED CLOUD EXPRESS showed brief speed and weakened. BONITA RAPIDS showed no early speed, raced six-wide through the turn and did not reach contention.
