Chart notes
CURLINGTON tracked the early pace three to four wide, then made a bid on the turn and was between rivals leaving the quarter pole, then had a long drive and prevailed late under a drive. IT'S GAME TIME vied for the early lead outside a rival, then made a two wide bid and was clear by the five sixteenths, then had a long drive with the winner in the lane and dug in gamely but missed. VITESSE was allowed to settle early, made a four wide bid by the quarter pole to loom boldly but flattened out. HOORAY FOR HARVEY vied for the lead on the inside and weakened. HOLD THE IRISH was rank into the first turn and was not a factor.
