Chart notes
THUNDERTAKESDALEAD brushed at the break, raced in the middle of the pack, saved ground around the turn, made a bid down the lane, split rivals midstretch and drove clear. ZOEY'S HIPPIE brushed at the start, vied for the lead, took the advantage, couldn't match strides with the winner down the stretch, but held on for place. ETBAUER'S SECRET raced within striking distance, came around the turn on the outside, made a bid and was outfinished for second. VIKING LEGACY raced in the back of the pack in the beginning, made a steady gain, while racing on the rail, but was no factor. WOOD RIVER lacked early speed, improved position, finished wide and was no threat. COUNT ON RAIN raced near the middle of the field, put forth an even effort and lacked a bid. T D Z HI COURT brushed at the start, challenged for the lead and was finished early. SABERMAN void of early speed and was never a threat. PETEY pressed the early pace and dropped back.
