Chart notes
SHANGHAI CANDY saved ground off the pace, bid leaving the three eighths pole, eased to the three path into the far turn, went wide around the errant path of SULEMAN into the stretch, dug in to meet that one late yards and drew clear under the wire. SULEMAN settled in the three path, bid nearing the three eighths pole and took the lead two deep midway on the far turn, drifted toward the head of the lane, was caught late stretch and relented the final yards. THATZA ALPHA rated close off the rail, gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole, took the lead nearing the five sixteenths and drew briefly clear into the far turn, but was caught midway through the turn and weakened inside the eighth pole. CHAMPAGNE JAM mostly saved ground. QUICK WIT moved to the inside and rated the pace inside, came under pressure toward the three eighths pole, was met toward the five sixteenths and faded at the rail.
