Chart notes
VALID REASON became edgy in the gate then gave chase inside, raced near the rail on the turn and dug in the final furlong to take over and draw clear late yards. TIZ THE REASON became edgy in the gate then hustled to the front approaching the seven sixteenths pole and rated the pace, came under pressure past the five sixteenths pole, dug in under steady stretch handling but was caught in later yards. SCARLET TANAGER gave chase, rounded the turn about the four path and ran evenly in the lane. TRUE HEIRESS exchanged contact with Dimitri's Romance leaving the gate then gave chase outside, rounded the turn in the three and four paths and ran evenly in the lane. CHEESE LOUISE was a bit anxious in the gate, gave chase inside, raced at the rail on the turn and finished evenly. DIMITRI'S ROMANCE exchanged contact with True Heiress leaving the gate, picked up the chase toward the outside, raced off the rail on the turn and ran evenly in the lane. MS HEADLEY gave close early chase, rounded the turn in the three path then weakened inside the eighth pole.
