Chart notes
A FAREWELL YODEL rounded the opening turn in the three path, closed to the lead four wide leaving the three eighths pole, drew clear toward the quarter, widened at the rail on the far turn and coasted through the lane. AIR MEDAL rounded the first turn in the three path, bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole, came through the far turn about the six path, got up for second mid-stretch and finished well while gaining on the winner. S S ALASKAN CRUZ saved ground off the pace, gave chase from the three eighths pole, raced near the rail on the far turn then flattened inside the eighth pole. POSTED came away a bit awkwardly then stalked from the three path, challenged toward the three eighths pole but dropped back into the far turn, ran in the four path through the turn and weakened in the lane. CHARITABLY GIFTED took the lead at the rail into the first turn and rated the pace, came under pressure leaving the seven sixteenths pole, was caught toward the five sixteenths then weakened while losing ground on the far turn. MEGALODON'SREVENGE stalked the early pace off the rail, challenged at the seven sixteenths pole but dropped back from the five sixteenths and faded into the far turn.
