Chart notes
AWESOME BID pressed a narrow lead through the turn shaking clear in the three path upper stretch holding firm to the wire. HARD FROST was in tight between horses racing to the turn, moved evenly there vying from the three path in upper stretch coming on late as second best. MARINERS WAY hustled up pressing the leader on the turn being dispatched by said foe in upper stretch angling out to mid track while weakening late. NICE STAR a step slow through the turn lost ground into upper stretch finishing evenly in the six path. BAHAMIAN BEAT pressed early then faded on the turn. HE'S A FINE MAN was always outrun. AWESOME PUDDING gave way along the inside. PER RULING #257-H FROM THE WEST VIRGINIA RACING COMMISSION, BAHAMIAN BEAT WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM 5th TO UNPLACED DUE TO THE HISA RULE ON EXCESSIVE CROP STRIKES.
