Chart notes
KIRBY stalked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, raced in the two path around the turn, began a bid approaching the quarter pole and drew off in the stretch. MRS. CREWS tracked the pace setter between horses through the opening quarter of a mile, saved ground around the turn and kept on in the lane, no match for the winner. CALL ME JELLY ROLL raced off the pace in the early going, began to improve position while racing in the three path around the turn and continued to gain ground mildly in the lane. FREEZER BURN hit the gate leaving it, recovered to lead the field up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn, gave way in upper stretch and weakened further in the final furlong. WEST HORIZEN trailed the field up the backstretch, raced in the two path around the turn and made no bid. MS BIG SPRING chased the leader in the opening stages, dropped back headed into the turn, saved ground from there and was done early.
