Chart notes
DAKOTA BOY took quick control of the pace and raced in hand the opening half mile pole, was hand urged away from the three eighths pole, drew off at the rail on the far turn and was steadily handled in the lane. CRYPTIC CODE raced well back saving early ground, bid approaching the three eighths pole, ran in the five path of the far turn and came along for second mid-stretch. GORUN rounded the first turn in the two and three paths, picked up the chase past the seven sixteenths pole, came through the far turn off the rail and showed little further. STAVANGER saved ground well off the pace, bid mildly leaving the seven sixteenths pole, ran in the three path of the far turn then flattened in the lane. BOUBOLINO settled off the rail on the first turn, gave chase past the half mile pole then weakened at the rail on the far turn. MORNING ARTIE was through after a half mile.
