EDDIE'S NEW DREAM raced up close outside the leader then switched to the inside, saved ground then raced a bit off the rail into the stretch, moved out in the lane and rallied under the left hand, drew alongside LEGGS GALORE in the final sixteenth and got up late. LEGGS GALORE step to the front quickly, set the pace two wide into the turn then along the rail, showed the way two wide into the stretch, led clear into the final sixteenth and got run down late. KLEEN KARMA chased the speed on the inside, moved out in the lane, could not threaten the top pair but kept on to hold third. ROSE DAWSON settled early, traveled two wide outside a rival then came three wide into the stretch and missed the show. HARPER'S GALLOP stalked the pace from outside, went two then three wide on the turn, drifted out crossing the dirt and lacked a rally.
