Chart notes
ROCKIN MACHEN sent clear set the pace holding daylight through the turn widening in upper stretch shortening stride late in the two path reaching the wire just in time. VEGAS PRINCESS chased the pace through the turn coming four wide down the lane moving on a tiring leader in the closing yards arriving a touch late. FAST RIDE hustled along on the outside came five wide in upper stretch closing late to be right there at the end. MACHEN IT RAIN walked from the gate bobbling after, well back through the turn swung out sharply to the seven path in mid stretch entering the picture late. S S SPARTAN ENERGY raced second flight giving a mild move on the inside in upper stretch finishing evenly. CHEROKEE WIND was never involved. WHY WINCHILL WHY was crowded steadying briefly near the eighth pole. PETITE N' SMITTY hustled along through the turn would wilt abruptly in upper stretch.
