EDDIE THE GREAT broke in and hit the gate then bumped with foes on both sides and was slow into stride, spotted the front a few lengths, settled near the back, went three wide around the turn, was roused outside the quarter-pole, swung six wide into upper stretch, rallied outside into the final furlong, closed well to get the lead into the final sixteenth then moved clear under good handling to prevail. GOLQUIST showed speed then was well placed just off the pace, saved ground on the turn, shifted three wide into the stretch, chased into the final furlong, made a bid between horses outside the sixteenth-pole but was outfinished while able to get the place. ON OUR WAY BOYZ showed speed then pressed the pace on the outside, turned up the pressure in the three path around the turn, took the lead into upper stretch, shook clear outside the furlong marker, lost the advantage coming to the sixteenth-pole and weakened but saved the show. HE'S GOT IT bumped with a rival at the start, settled off the pace, saved ground on the turn, turned into the stretch in the two path, dropped back to the rail inside the three-sixteenths, chased into the final furlong, steadied while lacking room into the final sixteenth then altered out and missed the superfecta. MASETA broke out at the start, moved up under urging, shifted from the rail to the two path on the turn, was roused four wide into the stretch then carried out while in pursuit of the leader and weakened. MOON HUNTER broke out at the start, dropped well behind the rest of the field, saved ground on the turn, gained ground while improving position in the final furlong then was taken in hand behind traffic late. HUDSON OVERPASS bumped with foes on both sides at the start, settled off the pace, went two then three wide on the turn, came five wide into the stretch, drifted in some inside the three-sixteenths, moved out outside the sixteenth-pole and lacked the needed response. NATURE BOY bumped with a foe at the start then was hustled, moved in while tracking the pace near the nine-sixteenths, chased two then three wide around the turn, spun five wide into the stretch and came up empty. FENWAY was hustled to the front, showed the way under some pressure to his outside, vied in the two path on the turn, was asked near the five-sixteenths, lost the advantage into upper stretch and gave way. SUIT OF ARMOR bumped with an opponent at the start, dropped back under urging, went three then four wide on the turn, came six wide into the stretch and failed to respond.
