Chart notes
GOD HELP US stalked the pace while three wide into the turn, rallied and was in a long drive and was up in the final stride. SMART BATTLE dueled for the lead while two wide into the turn, was in a long drive and gamely dug in but lost the head bob in the final stride. COURAGEOUS TIMMY was saving ground on the turn and was inside in the stretch, was gaining ground in late stretch but was out finished. ELUSIVE FREUD was two wide into the turn then made a mild rally in the stretch and was no threat. TEXAS PRADO was settled then raced five wide turning for home and made a mild rally but was no threat. DIRECTIONAL raced four wide on the turn then made a bid but failed to menace. PLAY RULE dueled inside for the lead into the turn, was hard used then stopped.
