Chart notes
AARON'S SPIRIT pressed the pace, saved ground around the turn, pulled away down the stretch and finished well. RUN CARLOS bumped at the start, raced near the middle of the field in the early part, made a late bid, proved no match for the winner, but got up for second. MORO OUTLAW raced in the back of the pack, made a steady gain and got up for the show position. HALO MOON bumped at the start, pressed the pace, lacked a late kick and was caught for show. SOLDIERS SACRIFICE bumped at the start, raced near the back, showed late interest, but was no factor. FANCY PAYNTER raced within striking distance, came around the turn on the outside and faded. MACHINE GUN MAN raced near the middle of the field and faded. THE FIVE B'S sprinted to the front, drove clear, blew the turn and dropped back. MARVINS' WARRIOR void of early speed and was never close.
