Chart notes
MANHATTAN WEAVE set a pressured early pace inside, was met nearing the three eighths pole and engaged in close chase from that point, regained the edge two deep midway on the turn, dueled clear toward the head of the lane and drew away under steady handling. CATS DIAMOND BOY closed to the front inside nearing the three eighths pole and set a pressured pace, was met at the rail midway on the turn, dropped back leaving the eighth pole but held on for second. BEAR'S ESTATE chased inside, rounded the turn near the rail and finished evenly while gaining on the runner-up. TALKING TEDDY stumbled forward from the gate then gave chase, rounded the turn in the three path then flattened in the lane. THUNDERINREADYRICK gave his rivals several lengths advantage when he dwelled in the gate, gave chase through the backstretch, ran at the rail on the turn, angled five wide into the lane and showed little further. ROCKING TO HOME chased the pack outside, ran five wide on the turn and entered the stretch widest. IN HIGH GEAR bore out steadying at the three eighths pole, rounded the turn in the four path then angled six wide into the lane.
