Chart notes
DIVINE ROMANCE gained the lead in the two path between horses mid way on the turn, dueled inside NEVER DONE through the stretch and determinedly prevailed. NEVER DONE , in close quarters leaving the starting gate, three deep on the turn, challenged for the lead turning for home, dueled and just missed in a game effort. BLAME CATALAYA , four wide around the turn, lugged in a bit near the eighth pole and weakened. LA TACHE , four wide on the turn, failed to be a factor. BALI HAI lacked speed and passed tired horses. ME DARLIN KATHLEEN , along the inner rail on the turn, was no factor. EXCLUSIVE ROSE , forced out by MIDNIGHT REVENGE leaving the starting gate, raced along the inner rail on the turn and was not a factor. MIDNIGHT REVENGE bore out leaving the starting gate sped to the early lead, hugged the inner rail, weakened and was eased. PER RULIG #22-209 FROM THE MARYLAND RACING COMMISSION, DIVINE ROMANCE WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM 1st TO UNPLACED DUE TO A POSITIVE TEST.
