Chart notes
KITCHEN FIRE well placed and outside, gained a striking position on the two path through the turn, bid outside the leader into the stretch, edging ahead of that one at the furlong marker, then drove clear late. STEVIS MAN sprinted to a clear lead soon after the start, held command to the stretch, then was challenged by the winner and was no match for that one, while clearly best of the rest. HIDDEN RULER chased the pace, saved ground through the turn, came through inside into the stretch, then could not gain the final furlong and held the show. SPICY SHOT unhurried, moved up three and four wide through the turn, came four wide into the stretch, drifted in and flattened out. TOTAL DISTRACTION passed a tiring rival. BOO BE RIGHT mid pack, steadily lost ground.
