Chart notes
MISS CALIFORNIA allowed to settle, moved up while angling out through the second turn, came widest into the stretch, dueled with BLUE NEITH, edged ahead of that one and held. BLUE NEITH mid pack, moved up two and three wide through the second turn, angled four wide into the stretch, dueled with the winner and lacked the needed late kick. MOTITO tracked the pace well back, saved ground through the second turn, angled out to bid three wide outside the leader, shook clear, then was no match and held the show. WORKIN ECLIPTICAL mid pack, looped four and five wide through the second turn, came five wide into the lane and got up for a share. HIGH DOLLAR DATE passed tiring rivals. SIGN AND SEAL sprinted clear soon after the start, drew off through the first turn and down the backstretch, then faded in the stretch. EPHEMERAL well placed and inside, faded through the second turn. LISA MARIE was no factor.
