Chart notes
GOODIE GOOMER well placed and off the rail, angled in and tracked the pace rating, saved ground through the second turn, got through inside the leader into the stretch, then made a steady gain and drew off late. WHISKEY DOUBLE never far back, gained position two and three wide through the second turn, came four wide into the stretch and edged up for the place. HEIRLOOM KITTEN unhurried, saved ground on the two path through the second turn, fanned three and four wide into the stretch and closed well for the show. A COTSWOLD VILLAGE unsettled in the gate, hopped slightly and brushed a rival at the start, looped up three wide through the second turn, fanned five wide into the stretch and improved his position. CARROTHERS well placed and outside, stalked the leader down the backstretch, then position and bid three wide outside that one into the stretch and faded late. WOODCHUCK sprinted to a clear lead soon after the start, stayed on when challenged through the second turn, then faded the final furlong. COLBALOAF was never involved.
