Chart notes
MONARCH'S MISCHIEF raced within striking distance, moved up on the inside around the second turn, made a rail bid and drove clear. WICKED ROSE raced in the middle of the field, made a late wide bid and was a clear second. HOLIDAY DIAMOND lacked early speed, saved ground around the final turn, angled out entering the home stretch, proved no match for the top two, but got up for show. AUTUMNS STRONG MAN vied for the early lead, forwardly placed throughout and weakened late. LUCKY MOON DOG went to the front, saved ground and faded. GEORGE ALLEN showed early speed, faded and finished evenly. MR ELVIN raced evenly near the back and was never a factor. EASY RUNNER void of early speed and showed little. BIG ACE always raced near the back and was outrun. GOTMY MO JO WORKIN broke a step slow, rushed up, pressed the pace and dropped back.
