Chart notes
DOUBLE CROWN was taken in hand early then rated off the pace, drafted in the three path around the turn, was asked near the quarter-pole, tipped four wide into upper stretch, pursued the runner-up under a drive into the final furlong, gained to take the lead into the final sixteenth then drove clear to prevail at big odds. BABY YODA prompted the pace on the outside, vied in the four path on the turn, took the lead under urging outside the quarter-pole, shook clear in the three path into upper stretch, was put to the crop under danger outside the sixteenth-pole then was overtaken while well clear for the place. SHACKQUEENKING moved out early then was rated just off the pace, advanced to press between foes with six furlongs to run, vied in the two path around the turn, dropped back into upper stretch and tired while able to get the show. EMPTY TOMB was restless in the gate, broke out then was corrected by the rider, showed the way down the backstretch, vied along the rail while inside of two foes on the turn, lost the advantage outside the quarter-pole, dropped back into upper stretch and capitulated. MORELLO stumbled at the start and was last to commence, angled out early then settled on the outside, was asked five wide on the turn and came up empty. TITLE READY was forced out early, angled in at the rear entering the main-track, settled at the back, was urged two to three wide on the turn and failed to respond.
