LOVE THE NEST tracked just off the first flight three wide on the backstretch, made a steady advance to challenge in that path racing into upper stretch, gained the advantage leaving the furlong marker and went clear late under firm encouragement. W W SCOUT'S HONOR broke sharply, was urged along the inside dictating the pace on a narrow margin to the turn, dueled inside a rival on the bend, proved no match for the winner late but kept on gamely to prevail for the place honors. DOCTOR OSCAR gained terms with the leader attending the pace on his own courage racing through the backstretch, pressed the issue on the turn into upper stretch and was outkicked for the place honors. PALACE KITTEN settled outside a rival in the opening stages, tipped out racing into the lane but lacked the needed final kick. MOJO MAN tracked off the first flight along the inside racing to the turn and gave way into upper stretch.
