Chart notes
SHAQ DIESEL settled off the pace while racing four wide, closed outside, seized command near the sixteenth pole and powered clear. ZYDECEAUX stalked the pace in the clear in the three path, took over nearing the three-sixteenths pole, led to the sixteenth pole and was no match for the winner late. CARABINERO set a clear pace in the two path and weakened in the lane. LIGHTNING TONES failed to menace while racing four wide. GRAND PICK played no factor while racing two wide. OPEN CARRY was outrun while racing three and four wide. AFY KID was outrun inside. MR MURGO chased the pace inside and retreated after a half.
