Chart notes
NO SALT engaged the pacesetter after half a mile, edged clear then held rival safe through the final furlong. MAYTHEHORSEBWITHU hustled to the front inside, was collared and battled gamely to the finish. SILVER EDGE forced the pace inside for three furlongs, angled wide then went evenly late. MISSISSIPPI trailed early, moved very wide on the final turn and faded. ICY STORM dropped back in the two path, moved inside and gave way. WHAT'S TO BLAME steadied in tight entering the first turn then stopped abruptly.
