Chart notes
GEORGE WHO dueled for the lead with READS CODIGO while racing four-wide, opened a clear margin into the lane and drew off with complete authority. STILL IN THE TRAP settled off the leaders early, moved four-wide through the turn, could not gain on the winner in the drive but finished with good energy. M G LOOKINGOOD raced off the pacesetters early, moved three-wide through the turn, angled out further into the stretch and failed to gain late. READS CODIGO disputed the pace with the winner while racing five-wide and gave way through the final furlong. TARDY CAT pressed the pace while racing six-wide and weakened in the drive. ATTILAS TORNADO was forwardly placed early, saved ground through the turn and weakened. HARDY BOY lagged early, raced three-wide through the turn and was not a factor. MOTORMAN raced off the pacesetters early, moved five-wide through the turn and weakened. BROTHER BEN was pulled up soon after the start and vanned off.
