Chart notes
SY MICHAEL unhurried in the beginning, made a steady gain, saved ground around the final turn and drove clear before the wire. BRYKEN N MITCHELL went to the front, drove clear, saved ground, was outfinished for the win, but held on for place. HEZA PICKLE lacked early speed, moved up on the outside around the second turn, made a late bid and finished willingly. WOODS N WATER raced in the middle of the field, made a mild bid, racing on the rail, but was no factor. DUKE OF BLUE RIDGE raced within contention, came around the first turn wide and faded. SEEHOSS raced within striking distance, eased back, improved position late, but was no factor. SIR OVERANALYZE void of early speed and was never a threat. FORGED IN STEEL pressed the early pace and made a steady retreat. LOWER CRETACEOUS was an early factor and dropped back. TINCAN MAN broke in, raced in the back, was eased to the wire and vanned off.
