Chart notes
ALTERANA pressed the pace, challenged on the front end throughout and drove clear late. BASEBALL LOVER vied for the early lead, took command, proved no match late for the winner, but held on for second. COLONEL KLINK broke poorly, racing in the back, gained ground and was outfinished for second. SMOOTH COLLIERY raced within contention, came around the turn on the outside and lacked a late kick. POWERSHOT lacked early speed, improved position, but was no factor. MCLEAN raced evenly near the middle of the pack, came around the turn on the outside and was no threat. OLD INDIAN TRICK broke a step slow, trailed in the early going and was never close. BIBLEMAN showed early speed, saved ground and dropped back.
