GOLD PHOENIX closed to the lead two deep into the first turn then rated the pace inside, came under pressure nearing the five sixteenths pole, widened at the rail on the far turn and dug in under steady handling to hold on well. JUJU ON DA BEAT rounded the first turn in the four path and left the turn outside, bid leaving the three eighths pole, came through the far turn in the three path and finished well, though needed more. WEAVINYOUINTHEDUST saved ground off the pace, bid nearing the five sixteenths pole, raced near the rail on the far turn then weakened in the stretch duel for second. WOODSONG'S CASTLE rounded the first turn about the five path and was well back leaving the turn, bid nearing the five sixteenths pole, raced at the rail on the far turn and ran evenly in the lane. ROO had a brief early lead inside then stalked into the first turn, gave chase from the three eighths pole but weakened off the rail on the far turn. A BLONDE THING settled off the rail on the first turn, bid leaving the three eighths pole but weakened in the four path of the far turn. PRETTY CASTLE raced off the rail the opening turn, picked up the chase from the three eighths pole then faded into the far turn.
