Chart notes
CINCO STEVE stalked the top pair, moved up three to four wide around the far turn and finished strongly while racing from the outside in the drive under strong handling. CRAZY LOVER showed good early foot to set the early pace from the inside and held the place position. DIXIELAND QUALITY was allowed to settle early on, swung six wide into the upper stretch and made a good late bid. LUCKY KINGBIRD tracked the early pace, challenged for the early lead through the upper stretch and weakened the final sixteenth of a mile. KYEMBEA settled off the early going, raced near the rail in the lane and lacked a rally. JUST BECAUSEWAY raced far back and never threatened.
