Chart notes
BOURBON ST TAPPIN unhurried in the early part, moved up strong on the outside around the final turn, took command, pulled away and was kept to the task. IRISH EXPECTATIONS vied for the early advantage, forwardly placed throughout, proved no match for the winner late, but held on for second. DEALIN' STELEN lacked early speed, racing outside down the backside, made a late bid and was outfinished for second. BASSETT raced in the middle of the field, eased back, showed late interest, but was no factor. LATE NITE MISCHIEF pressed the early pace, saved ground around the final turn and faded. OCTOBER SURPRISE void of early speed and passed tired ones. PRAIRIE SQUALL raced within contention, faded and finished evenly. RITHMICALLEA raced near the middle of the pack, dropped back and was no threat late. THREE RUN HOMER challenged for the early lead and retreated to the back.
