Chart notes
XANTHE saved ground on the first turn then eased out into the backstretch, started a bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole, took the lead past the three eighths, drew clear from the five sixteenths, widened at the rail on the far turn and was taken in hand the final sixteenth. LAUGHINTOTHEBANK rated just off the pace in the two and three paths, bid nearing the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn about the four path then dug in down the lane to take second late yards. AMELIA'S DREAM settled inside on the first turn, picked up the chase leaving the three eighths pole, ran in the three path of the far turn then flattened the final sixteenth. BEST VIRGINIA stalked four wide on the first turn, gave chase from the three eighths pole but steadied leaving the five sixteenths, raced off the rail on the far turn then flattened toward mid-stretch. LET'S DO THIS rated a slim lead inside, came under pressure nearing the three eighths pole but gave up the lead leaving the pole, raced near the rail on the far turn and weakened in the lane. AWESOME MOON stalked from the three path the first turn, challenged at the seven sixteenths pole but faded past the three eighths. The Stewards reviewed then dismissed a claim of foul against the rider of Xanthe for alleged interference past the five sixteenths pole, lodged by the rider of Best Virginia.
