Chart notes
SIR ROCKPORT pressed the early pace in between rivals, made a two wide bid on the turn to take over nearing the quarter pole, then drew clear by the furlong marker, then had enough left late to hold sway under a drive. PAPA TONY pressed the early pace three wide, then rated off the duel on the turn and stalked the pace three wide, then was slowly gainibng in the final furlong, second best. BERHANU was off a step slow, then rushed up the inside and set a pressured pace and dueled on the turn, then weakened, held show award. THE GREAT CASBY was taken back early, started to unwind leaving the five sixteenths, came six wide into the lane and had a belated rally to just miss the show award. COMMISSIONER BIGGS hit the gate coming out at the start, chased the pace on the inside and swung out five wide leaving the turn and had no rally.
