LOST IN ROME six then five wide in pursuit, came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, swung five wide for home, rallied to take command a furlong out, dug in under threat from flanking challengers and gamely held on between them to score. LAFITTE'S FLEET chased four wide under coaxing from the three-eighths, angled five to six wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive rallying through the final furlong but was ultimately staved off when not having enough to go by. F F ROCKET coaxed from the gate, prompted the leader five then four wide taking over command under coaxing at the three-eighths, swung four wide into upper stretch, dug in under threat and was collared a furlong out, fought on latched on to the finish. BOURBON BAY coaxed from the start, chased four to five wide under a ride from the three-eighths, swung five to six wide into upper stretch and weakened in the late stages. TAPIZEARANCE chased six to seven wide under coaxing from the three-eighths, went six wide into upper stretch and tired. SUPER JOHN coaxed from the gate, showed the way three wide down the backstretch coaxed along, came under urging at the seven-sixteenths, got displaced from the front at the three-eighths, faded and continued three wide for home, then tired in the stretch.
