Chart notes
NAKATOMI stalked the pace early, raced along the inside in the turn, was in the two path into the lane while taking over command, drew clear near the eighth pole and held off rival in the final stages. ENDORSED raced back early on, was on the inside along the turn, shifted into the four path entering the lane, rallied down the lane and was gaining in the late stages. FORTIN HILL pressed the pace early two wide, raced three wide along the turn, was in the three path into the lane and weakened late in the stretch run. NIGHT TIME was put in tight and was checked back shortly after leaving the gate, raced in the two path along the turn, was in the four path into the lane, made a bid in the stretch but flattened out late in the drive. GUN IT chased the pace early, raced three wide along the turn, was in the six path into the lane and leveled off late in the stretch drive. NO SHIRT NO SHOES tracked the pace early, raced in the four path along the turn, was in the five path into the lane and weakened late in the stretch. LOFTY ADJUDICATOR was never a factor. ROBO MAN was put in tight and steadied early on. SILK TRADE raced from between horses along the turn, was in the four path entering the lane while done early. BAYTOWN BEAR was put in tight and steadied near the seven sixteenths pole. MESSIER had early speed then folded up, bled and was walked off after the race.
