Chart notes
SWINGING MANDY took control from the start, was loose up front down the backstretch, continued to be unchallenged racing on the turn, turned for home with a clear lead and was kept to the task in mid stretch to win comfortably at the wire. TRIZZEL TRAZZEL settled on the rail behind the winner racing down the backside in this small field, shifted outside two wide to begin her rally with three furlongs left to go, angled out to the four path for the drive and finished up a non threatening second besting the others in the end. FIRST ROUND PICK trailed the compact field just outside with a half mile remaining, was roused for more three eighths to the wire, showed some late energy on the fence in mid stretch and closed in to get up for third money. SACRED DANCER chased the winner in the early stages, was ridden to try to close the gap on the free wheeling leader five sixteenths from the finish, could not make an impact at the top of the stretch and weakened at the furlong marker.
