Chart notes
JIM AND JIM ducked out sharply at the start while getting away a step slowly, tracked off the second flight on the backstretch, switched out four wide racing through the turn commencing a steady advance, then continued with a steady late response to wrest the advantage in time under firm right handed encouragement. HURTS SO BAD tracked just off the leaders along the inside through the backstretch, shifted out three wide on the turn to bid between foes racing into upper stretch, struck the front midstretch but proved only second best. ROCKET MAN ATTACK angled inwards to force the pace outside a rival in the opening stages, dueled for command inside the top pair into upper stretch and gave out leaving the furlong marker. SMOOTH ATTACK tracked off the first flight three deep in the opening stages, then continued evenly off the inside racing into the stretch. ANUNKA made brief pursuit of the leaders between foes and gave way racing into the turn. INSIDE THE CIRCLE was urged inside rivals disputing the pace through the backstretch into the turn and gave way into upper stretch. UNCLE DICK was settled outside a rival dropping well off the leaders on the backstretch, angled five wide entering the stretch but proved no threat. LELAND JOHN broke slowly and failed to menace.
