Chart notes
STARSHIP ROGUE raced close up on the inside, moved up on the rail nearing the turn, came through to challenge, took over on the turn, drew clear and was kept to the task. SEA FRET vied three wide for the early lead, came over bothering SOUPSTER entering the turn, then chased, dug in through the stretch drive and held second. SPIRIT OR SPITE vied inside for the early lead, then between rivals, dropped back on the turn and re rallied inside in the final furlong. GAVICHI chased on the inside, rode the rail entering the turn, lacked a bid and finished evenly. SWEET LILLY FACTUM chased close up outside, was checked sharply entering the turn and finished evenly. DIAL A LADY raced off the pace inside, was steadied to avoid the spill and then failed to threaten. RED PEPPER GRILL was outrun early, pulled up to avoid fallen rivals and walked off. HEY IT'S TATI chased outside, hit a fallen rival and lost the rider entering the turn, walked off. B B'S ROCKET raced off the pace, hit a fallen rival entering the turn and lost the rider, walked off. SHIRLEY GREENE raced off the pace, hit a fallen rival entering the turn and lost the rider, walked off. SOUPSTER vied between rivals for the lead, was in tight nearing the turn, then clipped heels stumbled badly and fell. After a Stewards' Inquiry into the incident, SEA FRET was disqualified and placed sixth.
