Chart notes
HANDSOME CAT was well rated two wide early, then saved ground on the turn, angled out leaving the turn to closed on the outside to get up in time under a drive. ZERTZ was away alertly to set the pace on the inside, then was headed by the quarter pole, turned back that bid leaving the turn and was clear by the furlong marker, but was denied on the wire to just miss. MARTINKELLY was well placed on the inside, then eased off the inside by the quarter pole and came three wide into the lane to be in range but faded then final furlong. ANNAMATED MOON stalked the early pace three wide, made a two wide bid on the turn to vie for command nearing the quarter pole but weakened in the drive. CAERUS was reserved early, advanced on the turn and was three wide by the quarter pole but lacked the needed rally. CRITICAL THINKING was reserved early, then advanced four wide on the turn and had no rally. YES IT'S ROO was settled back early, then was five wide on the turn and came widest into the lane and had no rally. HELMS DEEP stalked the early pace between rivals and backed out, weakened.
