Chart notes
TEQUILA TIME led the field up the backstretch, continued to show the way while racing in the two path around the turn and maintained that margin to the wire. COWBOY COOL raced off the pace in the early going, came around the turn in the four path and gained ground late to the wire while drifting out. BESITOS CRIMINALES stalked the leader on the outside through the opening quarter of a mile, raced in the three path around the turn and kept on in the lane. NEXT AFFAIR chased the frontrunner on the outside up the backstretch, came around the turn in the four path, began a bid approaching the quarter pole and improved position from there. CATS GOTTA CHANCE stumbled and bumped with the horse to his inside leaving the gate, raced at the back of the pack on the outside in the opening stages, navigated the turn from the two path and made no bid. PATRIOT tracked the leader on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and faded in the lane. BANJO BILL chased the leader in the early going, dropped back while racing in the two and three path around the turn and continued to tire in the stretch. BEAN AND THE BUG bumped with the horse to his outside at the start, trailed the field throughout, saved ground around the bend and never factored.
