Chart notes
KILLER HOTROD raced in the three path through the turns when never far back, bid into the lane from the four path, steadily gained on the top ones inside the eighth pole, joined the next two in deep stretch and just got up while three wide late. HITCHPIN raced in the two path through the turns when in mid-pack, bid into the lane from the two path, guided to the three path inside the sixteenth pole, then was closing in between rivals and just missed. GOLDEN RAPPER stalked the pacesetter while in the three then the two path through the far turn, bid into the lane, gained the lead outside the eighth pole, remained on a short lead and was giving ground grudgingly. PRINCE SHIM set the pace while in the two path into the lane, moved closer to the inside into the lane, dueled for the lead outside the eighth pole then gave way along the rail. SAKIC was along the inside through the far turn, not far back when straightened then weakened. TAP TAP COMIN THRU hopped at the start, raced in the three path through the far turn and never factored. PRINCE MIDAS was outrun while off the inside into the lane. SHAD was outrun while along the inside.
