Chart notes
IN SPADES was off slowly and broke inward, raced off the pace between rivals, advanced on the turn, bid outside of MEET THE ELITE at the quarter pole, took over and pulled away under urging. MEET THE ELITE set the pace racing with a clear lead, showed the way on the turn, dueled with the winner into the stretch and came up second best. CABAR SUL raced off the pace inside, advanced on the turn and rallied mildly outside for third. THE GRAYT PUMPKIN stalked outisde, chased three wide on the turn and weakened. SHIP MASTER raced off the pace, inside on the turn and failed to threaten. LITTLE HENRY tracked inside, chased inside on the turn and faded. SCOOTSCOOT was unprepared for the start and outrun. After a Stewards' Inquiry into the start, SCOOTSCOOT was declared a non starter.
