Chart notes
POSTED rated a slim lead inside, was met leaving the half mile pole and took a short breather, dug in to recover the nod at the rail midway on the far turn and was steadily handled to hold on. FELICIAS CASTLE settled off the rail, picked up the chase toward the three eighths pole and raced close three wide on the far turn, dug in to take second mid-stretch, but hung late strides and just lasted for second. AIR MEDAL raced well back saving early ground, bid toward the five sixteenths pole and was eased to the five path on the far turn, finished well to gain on the top two and just missed second. S S ALASKAN CRUZ saved ground, bid nearing the three eighths pole and raced at the rail most of the far turn, angled four wide into the stretch and finished well. LASHER raced with the pace through the front stretch then stalked into the first turn, took a slim lead past the half mile pole, came under pressure toward the three eighths but was met midway on the far turn and weakened nearing mid-stretch. MEGALODON'SREVENGE raced wide on both turns and never factored. DUKE OF CORK became fractious in the gate then stalked from the three path the first turn, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole but weakened into the far turn.
