Chart notes
AMUNDSON was hustled to the front, showed the way down the backstretch, was asked while inside on the turn, turned into the stretch in the two path, was put to a right-handed crop inside the three-sixteenths, extended the advantage into the final furlong and held under steady urging. NOVA RAGS was hustled from the gate, established position just off the pace, traveled around the turn in the two path, shifted three wide near the quarter-pole, altered in over heels at the three-sixteenths, was roused for his best shortly thereafter, rallied in the final furlong and finished with good energy but was too late while clear for the place. STAGE LEFT brushed with a rival at the start, was forced out near the nine-sixteenths, went four wide on the turn and lacked the needed response while able to get the show. SENBEI was hustled from the start, raced inside of a foe early, was put to strong encouragement nearing the five-eighths then angled out at the nine-sixteenths, chased three wide around the turn, dropped back while remaining on his inside lead in the stretch and capitulated. PIRATE RICK brushed with a rival at the start, stalked the pace on the outside, was asked in the two path on the turn, chased into the stretch and came up empty. FLAMINGO HAWK broke a bit awkwardly, dropped well behind the rest of the field, saved ground on the turn, turned into the stretch in the two path and was outrun.
