Chart notes
NO SALT broke out at the start, stalked the pace on the outside, was asked to pick in up in the four path around the turn, gained to take the advantage into upper stretch, led under a drive into the final furlong, drifted out under major threat from the runner-up at the sixteenth-pole and held under strong urging. OUTLIER bumped hard with rivals on both sides at the start, settled just off the pace, drafted in the two path around the turn, shifted three wide into the stretch, moved out inside the three-sixteenths, made an outside bid inside the furlong marker, was forced out into the final sixteenth, fought with the winner to the wire and missed while clear for the place. CHRIS AND DAVE broke in and bumped soundly with a foe, pressed the pace on the inside of the leader, took the lead late on the backstretch, vied along the rail on the turn, lost the advantage in the two path into upper stretch and was outfinished while clear for the show. ROYAL TRYST was hustled from the gate then urged along off the pace, went three wide on the turn, angled out in upper stretch, remained on his inside lead in the drive and failed to rally. LOCALLY OWNED broke out and bumped soundly with a foe, was rated on the inside, saved ground while roused on the turn and failed to threaten. MOUNT TRAVERS was hustled from the start then taken in hand when the leader crossed in front approaching the seven-eighths, settled off the pace, was urged five wide on the turn and failed to respond. LORD GATLING was carried out at the start then sent to the front, lost the lead late on the backstretch, vied in the three path on the turn, dropped back late on that bend and retreated. FOLLOWING THE RACE, THE TRAINER OF OUTLIER CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST THE WINNER ALLEGING INTERFERENCE NEAR THE SIXTEENTH-POLE. FOLLOWING THE STEWARDS' REVIEW, NO CHANGE WAS MADE TO THE ORDER OF FINISH
