Chart notes
CARELESS KITTEN stalked the top pair off the inside, drew closer three deep in the middle stages, bid three to four wide leaving the far turn, bumped with PITTSBURGH in upper stretch, took over midway through the lane and inched away to prove best. PITTSBURGH dueled for command from outside into the first turn, pressed the leader up the backstretch, challenged again on the far turn, bumped with CARELESS KITTEN in upper stretch, vied between rivals through the final furlong and kept on gamely for second. MEMES away quickly and dueled for command into the first turn then inched ahead of PITTSBURGH, showed the way up the backstretch under pressure, raced on even terms with PITTSBURGH around the far turn, inched ahead again entering the stretch, vied to midstretch then relinquished control and faltered in the final sixteenth. ARMAVEER stalked along the inside then two wide on the first turn, saved ground through the far turn and flattened in the lane. SAMBA FLAVOR bumped and took up at the start, tracked three wide early then began to climb and became rank into the backstretch, stayed off the rail into the stretch and weakened. ENGLISH ENCOUNTER was antsy in the starting gate, went two wide into the first turn then lost his path and dropped back, lagged behind to the lane and was ridden out to the wire.
