Chart notes
ALWAYS MIA pressed the pace from the outside, took command into the upper stretch and finished well to edge clear under strong handling. ICY REPLY tracked the early pace from the inside, moved up three to four wide through the far turn and was no match for the winner late. LIKELY CHOICE raced off the early pace, was along the inside through the upper stretch and showed good late interest. IMAGINE VICTORY raced mid pack early on, worked his way through rivals in the stretch, angled four wide between near the eighth pole and moved up to improve position. FORTUNATA ITALIA was slow early, raced from the inside near the three eighths pole, angled out to race from the outside in the stretch run and moved up. MISS CASEY was off slowly, raced three deep near the quarter pole, angled to race six wide and had no late rally. LA FAMILIA showed good early speed to set the early pace and gave way. ROSY APPLE stalked the pace from the outside, fanned seven wide into the upper stretch and weakened in the drive. SALAMINA dropped back early and failed to respond.
